皆さんは、英語を話す際や書く際に以下のような単語を使いますか？
something 何か
someone 誰か
someplace どこか
somewhere どこか
anyone だれか
anything 何か
これらの単語は英語で indefinite pronoun と呼ばれていて、日本語では不定代名詞といいます。
そして、ネイティブは、以下のパターンを日常的に使います。
特に、不定代名詞 を want という動詞と一緒に使います。
形容詞は名詞の前に置くことが多いので、初めてこのようなパターンを目にする方も多いでしょう。
日本人は「どこか楽しいところに行きたい。」を、 I want to go to a fun place somewhere. と訳しがちです。しかし、英語では place と somewhere を組み合わせるより、somewhere や someplace だけを使うので、I want to go somewhere fun. になります。
どこかへ行きたい
I want to go somewhere fun.
どこか楽しいところに行きたい。
She wants to go someplace different.
彼女は違う場所に行きたい。
何かをしたい
I want to do something fun.
何か楽しいことをしたい。
I want to try something new.
新しいことを試してみたい。
I want to meet someone new.
誰か新しい人と出会いたい。

But,
‘I don’t (Verb)＋ not(something or someone) but（anything or anyone).’
‘Do you (Verb)＋ not(something or someone) but（anything or anyone)?’
Then,’Many’ can be used with not uncountable nouns but countable nouns.

‘Any’is the negative form of ‘some’ and can be used for questions.
‘Some’ means neither ‘many’ nor’much’.
So,we can also say this;
‘I have some (countable or unountable noun).’
How about ‘somewhere’ or ‘somepace’?
‘You CAN go ANYPLACE’. and ‘You CAN’T go ANYPLACE’ are both right?
‘You GO SOMEPLACE’ and ‘You DON’T go SOMEPLACE’ are also both right?
What is the difference between using ‘someplace’ and using’anyplace’ in meaning under pervious sentences?
